Liverpool are weighing up a summer move for Malaga playmaker Manuel Itarra.
The Reds have struggled at times in being productive in the final third of the pitch, and Itarra is agitating for a move away from the La Liga outfit.
The International Business Times states Itarra has decided not to extend his stay with the nouveaux-riche club.
They also point out that Malaga will listen to offers of £3m plus for the player.
Malaga have been warned about Financial Fair Play by UEFA, however a deal could satisfy both parties.
Iturra has made 18 appearances for Malaga this season, but is yet to break his duck as far as scoring goals is concerned.
