JUAN MATA could yet leave Chelsea before the transfer window closes after PSG announced their intention to try and bring the midfielder to the French capital this evening.
Reports in France suggest that PSG are the latest club to enquire about Mata's availability.
Indeed, according to L'Equipe the Parisien club are already in negotiations with Chelsea to sign Mata before the transfer window slams shut.
Arsenal, Tottenham and Liverpool have all been linked with a move for Mata who has seemingly grown unsettled at Stamford Bridge following the arrival of Jose Mourinho this summer.
Mourinho has repeatedly insisted that Mata is not for sale and remains an important part of his plans, but after being left out of Spain's most recent national squad the 25-year-old may push for a move to boost his World Cup hopes.
Earlier today it was reported that Mata could still force a move away from Chelsea by handing in a transfer request.
Chelsea are thought to value Mata at approximately £40m but that may not concern PSG's owners who have already bought in a host of big names this summer, headlined by Edinson Cavani from Napoli.
