Liverpool midfielder Lucas Leiva has returned to full training after 12 weeks out with a thigh injury.
The Brazilian hasn't featured since pulling up in the early stages of the home league clash with Manchester City back in August.
Lucas won't feature against Wigan at Anfield tomorrow but could make his comeback against Young Boys in the Europa League next Thursday.
"Happy to be back and feeling good," tweeted Lucas.
"Just get some more training sessions and I hope I will be available soon."
Boss Brendan Rodgers has also been boosted by the news that Martin Skrtel, Pepe Reina and Jonjo Shelvey have all been passed fit for tomorrow's meeting with the Latics.
Skrtel (virus) and Shelvey (thigh) sat out last weekend's draw at Chelsea, while Reina hasn't featured since damaging his hamstring on international duty last month.
The Reds are still waiting on Daniel Agger, who has been having treatment after withdrawing from the Denmark squad due to a tight groin.
"Some of the players that have been out are starting to return to training," said Rodgers.
"Lucas has worked tirelessly in his rehabilitation, so he comes back out onto the field in a good moment.
"Jonjo and Pepe are also back training. Pepe made a great commitment to show he's fighting for his place here in the group.
"He was called into the Spanish squad, but stayed here to ensure he was fit and strong and he's been training all week. He'll be available for the weekend."
