Liverpool are joining the long list of clubs eyeing the transfer of Rennes wonderkid Ousmane Dembele.

The Reds are keen to strengthen up front this summer and Dembele has impressed Jurgen Klopp.

Still only 18, the French forward has managed 12 goals in 21 games for Rennes, with Manchester United, Barcelona and Bayern Munich also mentioned as potential suitors.

However, French source RMC now claim Liverpool have joined the running for Dembele’s signature, having scouted him extensively in recent weeks.

The teenager looks ideally suited to Klopp’s preferred style of play, but Liverpool may struggle to beat so many big clubs to his signature without the lure of Champions League football.
