Liverpool's U18s fly to Qatar on Saturday to participate in the second edition of the Al Kass International Cup in Doha.
The Reds' youngsters join 11 other teams from around the world - including Boca Juniors, Inter Milan, Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid - for the tournament, which begins on Monday.
Steve Cooper's side have been drawn with Aspire Qatar and Esperance Sportive in Group B and their campaign kicks off against the former at 4.30pm local time in the opening encounter of the event.
The Reds then face Esperance at the same time the following day, with the top two teams in each group progressing to the knockout stages.
The quarter-finals get underway next Friday, with the final set to be held on Thursday, February 7. PSG were crowned the inaugural champions in 2012 after beating Juventus on penalties.
With adverse weather causing fixtures to be postponed during January, Cooper's U18s have played just once previously this month - drawing 1-1 with West Bromwich Albion three days ago.
