How Brazil gave Reds a double boost

Liverpool's presence on Twitter received a double boost this week – with new signing Philippe Coutinho swelling the ranks of first-team players using the social media site and the launch of a new Brazilian account.

Reds fans can add attacking midfielder Coutinho to their following list, while our supporters in Brazil can remain up-to-date with all of the latest news from Anfield via @LFCBrasil, which was launched on Monday.

After changing his profile and cover photos to proudly show off the colours of his new club, Coutinho sent a message to Liverpool supporters...

The 20-year-old was unavailable for selection against Arsenal, but the Reds still collected a point from a pulsating 2-2 draw at the Emirates Stadium on Wednesday.
