Philippe Coutinho returns to the Liverpool starting XI as Brendan Rodgers' men travel to Wigan Athletic in the Barclays Premier League this evening – follow the match live from 5.30pm GMT.

The Brazilian replaces Jordan Henderson in the only change from the line-up which defeated Zenit St Petersburg nine days ago, while Daniel Sturridge misses out through injury.

Liverpool's team in full is: Reina, Johnson, Enrique, Agger, Carragher, Lucas, Allen, Gerrard, Downing, Coutinho, Suarez.

Subs: Gulacsi, Wisdom, Shelvey, Assaidi, Henderson, Coates, Suso.
