Philippe Coutinho featured for 85 minutes as Brazil claimed a sixth successive victory in World Cup qualifying by beating Peru 2-0.

Tite's side maintained their outstanding form in the South American preliminaries on Tuesday night courtesy of goals from Gabriel Jesus and Renato Augusto.

Coutinho, who scored in the win over Argentina last Thursday, played almost the whole game in Lima, going off with five minutes remaining.

His Liverpool teammate Roberto Firmino was an unused substitute, and the pair will now return to Merseyside ahead of Saturday's Premier League clash with Southampton.
