Georginio Wijnaldum and Simon Mignolet both featured as the Netherlands drew 1-1 with Belgium in a friendly encounter in Amsterdam on Wednesday evening.

The Liverpool stopper went the full distance while Wijnaldum played for 88 minutes.

Divock Origi remained on the bench for Roberto Martinez’s side.

Ajax star Davy Klaasen gave the hosts the lead from the penalty spot on 38 minutes, but Belgium piled on the pressure and deservedly levelled eight minutes from time when Yannick Carrasco netted with a deflected effort.

Both countries are involved in World Cup qualifiers on Sunday. The Dutch travel to Luxembourg while Belgium host Estonia.
