Fowler on Reds fans, Scouse dream team and coming home
Robbie Fowler took part in a special Q&A session with Liverpool supporters all over the world on Skype this week.
The former striker and club ambassador revealed his ultimate five-a-side team, where he thinks Jürgen Klopp can take the Reds and much more.
Read on for the highlights...
Kieran asks, how would you describe the Anfield atmosphere on matchday?
I think always the best. [LFC] fans can be unbelievable when they give it everything. [They] can literally scare the opposition.
Joanne would like to know, who was the best player you ever played with, and why?
A couple really. Of course Stevie G will get a mention, but I must always give a big shout to Steve McManaman, who was unbelievable and deserves a lot more plaudits than he gets for what he achieved elsewhere.
Following on in the same vein, Dawn asks who was the best player you ever played against, and why?
Again, I could put Stevie in that group.
Next up is a question from Ryan - if you weren't a footballer, what would you have done as a profession?
Honestly not got a clue. I always wanted to play football and never dreamed of anything else. But being the sporty type, maybe something else through sport. I actually wished I'd taken up golf at a young age.
Intriguing question from Abban - who would you select in your dream five-a-side team from players you've played with?
Tough one. David James, Carra, Stevie G, Stevie Mac, and I want to play in that team so me. A bit of everything in that team - Jamo is huge so I couldn't see many goals going in on a five-a-side pitch and an outfield team of Scousers!
Griffin would like to know, do you have a particular favourite achievement of your career?
I'm proud of all things Liverpool in terms of games played, games won, trophies won, goals scored, but by far the best thing I ever 'achieved' was re-signing for my team in 2006 under Rafa. I will love him until the day I die for giving me the chance to come home.
Next up is a question from Rajen - what was your most memorable LFC match you ever played in and why?
Probably the last game of the 2001 season. [After] winning all the cups, we needed to beat Charlton to cap off a wonderful season and finish in the Champions League places - we won 4-0.
