Liverpool Football Club are delighted to confirm they will be supporting the Global Goals campaign – and Jordon Ibe and Joe Gomez have given the cause their backing by taking part in the Dizzy Goals challenge.

The pair took part in a penalty head-to-head with a twist at Melwood recently…stepping up to take their kicks, but only after they’d made themselves dizzy first!

You can watch their attempts above, or find out more by using the hashtag #DizzyGoals on social media.

Although Ibe and Gomez had plenty of fun when taking part in the challenge, it was for a great cause.

Global Goals is a 17-step action plan that will be signed by 193 world leaders in September. Its aim is to end poverty, climate change and inequalities within 15 years.

But for these goals to be a success, everyone needs to know about them - if they are famous they won’t be forgotten.

Think you can outdo Ibe and Gomez? Join Liverpool FC and main club sponsor Standard Chartered to be part of the biggest team ever and help make the Global Goals famous by uploading your Dizzy Goal to @TheGlobalGoals on Twitter.
