Anfield paused for a poignant minute's silence on Thursday evening in memory of the 96 supporters who lost their lives in the Hillsborough tragedy.
Friday marks the 27th anniversary of the disaster which unfolded at the FA Cup semi-final between Liverpool and Nottingham Forest on April 15, 1989.
Before kick-off in the Europa League match between the Reds and Borussia Dortmund at Anfield, the entire stadium paid respects to the 96.
