Minute by minute

Post That's all from the Emirates tonight. Thanks for following. We'll be back at the Etihad for Sunday's game against Manchester City.
Post Rodgers on Carra: 'I can't give Jamie enough credit. I can't speak highly enough of him both as a professional football player and a human being.'
Post Rodgers on further signings: 'It will be difficult. I don't think there'll be any more coming in.'
Post Rodgers: 'There is an initial disappointment when you're 2-0 up in the game. But my overriding emotion is real pride.'
Post With Tottenham also drawing, Liverpool have not lost ground in the race for fourth. They remain seventh with 35 points, seven behind Spurs in fourth. Arsenal are sixth with 38, Everton fifth with 41. Fourteen games to go.
Post Wenger: 'It was a great football game where both teams really went for it. We could have lost the game, we could have won it also by lots more goals.'
90 @Realaldo474: Im goina Try and sum that up on Lfctv my hearts pumping after that last chance Coulda gone either way.
90 @JimBoardman: Full time: Glass Full 2 Glass Empty 2.
90 Liverpool made a total of 40 clearances - Johnson 10, Carragher 7. Arsenal 19 in total.
90 Reaction from Brendan Rodgers coming up.
90 Arsenal had 19 shots to Liverpool's 13. The home side tallied 61.8 per cent possession.
90 FULL-TIME: The honours are shared after an entertaining game at the Emirates. Goals from Suarez and Henderson were cancelled out by efforts from Giroud and Walcott.
90 Suarez with a chance to shoot here. Szczesny gets down to save well and the ball just won't fall for Henderson. Is that game over now?
90 Liverpool would probably have taken this before the game but it is hard not to feel a sense of disappointment after leading 2-0. Still, the away fans sing and it's they alone who can be heard at this late stage with You'll Never Walk Alone.
90 Suarez with a corner for Liverpool. Takes it short. One-two with Enrique and then the cross is poor.
90 Four minutes of stoppage time.
90 First Booking: Per Mertesacker: Composed defending from Agger, who then breaks, skins Mertesacker and is felled.
88 Downing has space down the right...he looks up and opts to cut back for Suarez, who hits it first time. Over.
87 Surely this time for Arsenal...how did Giroud not score there?
86 Arsenal have a corner kick now. This is breathless. Cazorla takes on the left-hand side but Gerrard, positioned at the near post, clears the danger.
85 First Booking: Olivier Giroud: Diving.
85 Giroud and Agger square up after the former goes down outside the area. Giroud isn't going to get the decision.
83 Gerrard takes this one. Comes to Agger right in the middle of the pack but he cannot connect properly. Arsenal break again and Reina has to pull off another decent save to deny Giroud.
83 Enrique wins a corner now. More promising for Liverpool.
82 Downing's back-post delivery is cleared and Arsenal break. Podolski strides into the box but no one is there to connect with his drive across the six-yard area.
81 Suarez wins a corner. The Arsenal fans, and some of their players, go mad. Could have a point, there.
80 Arsenal break down the right. Cross comes in. Agger extends a leg to intercept. Fine defending. Arsenal looking the more likely.
78 Cazorla lifts it in, Mertesacker meets it with his head at the near post. Just wide.
78 Wilshere downed by Wisdom and Arsenal have another free-kick in a good position here.
73 First Booking: Steven Gerrard: Very late on Mertesacker.
71 Substitution: Jose Enrique for Daniel Sturridge:
71 Walcott blasts just wide. Liverpool are on the rocks now.
67 GOAL! Theo Walcott: Walcott blasts into the bottom corner from a tight angle. The game has been turned upside down.
65 GOAL! Olivier Giroud: Wilshere sends a free-kick into the box and Giroud is allowed to jump unchallenged to head into the bottom corner.
61 Henderson single-handedly holds off Mertesacker and Santos. The ball then ricochets off Ramsey in the box, allowing Henderson to tuck into an empty net.
60 GOAL! Jordan Henderson:
59 Liverpool having to defend hard here. Two lines of four standing up to the Arsenal onslaught in this second half so far.
57 Podolski fires the free-kick into the four-man Liverpool wall, then powers the rebound right into Jamie Carragher's midriff. There'll be a bit of a stoppage here. Rodgers uses the time to issue instructions to Sturridge.
56 Lucas downs a sprinting Wilshere just outside the box. Real danger here.
54 Out-swinging cross and Walcott times his run to perfection. He leaps to meet the header but it is just over the crossbar.
54 It was Wisdom who brought down Podolski but would have been harsh in the extreme.
53 Oh dear. Sturridge is running at Mertesacker. He almost rounds him and then loses a boot...
52 Podolski goes down after a shoulder barge in the box. The referee thinks about it but no.
49 Henderson plays the ball over for Sturridge in the box. The No.15 tries to navigate Vermaelen. Shouts for handball. Referee Kevin Friend having none of it.
46 SECOND HALF: Liverpool kick things off in this second period.
45 Aaron Ramsey had the most impressive stats, with more touches than any other player (57) and a 93 per cent pass completion rate.
45 Arsenal had 59 per cent of the first-half possession, and seven shots to Liverpool's six.
45 Big screen interview with David Weir of Paralympics fame. He's just predicted a 2-0 win for Arsenal. Obviously recorded before kick-off.
45 @Realaldo474: Good 1st half just the final ball that's cost us being 2 or 3 up
45 What did we learn in the first half? Henderson and Reina are finding top form; Liverpool are targeting Sagna by asking Suarez to shadow him; and it is impossible to spell most of the Arsenal players' names without checking the teamsheet.
45 HALF-TIME: Liverpool lead at the break after an early goal from Luis Suarez. Both sides have had chances since but it is Liverpool who have the advantage. Quite a few boos from the home fans as the teams withdraw.
45 Suarez over the top for Sturridge but Szczesny gets there first.
45 Three minutes of stoppage time.
43 Cazorla shot is blocked by Gerrard at one end, and then straight away Liverpool break, Downing finding Henderson. The England U21 captain is one on one but at an angle. Tries a chip. Hits the roof of the net. Unlucky.
42 Sagna crosses and this time Agger heads clear. He's commanded the Liverpool back line this evening.
41 Liverpool having to defend. Gerrard outruns Wilshere to cut off his route to goal but the ball comes to Walcott. His cross is met by Giroud but it's an easy save this time for Reina.
39 Liverpool trying to slow things down with some keep ball. Brendan Rodgers shows his frustration when Glen Johnson plays a loose pass.
39 @paul_tomkins: Since I praised Henderson he's lost possession every time!
38 Gerrard swings in the free-kick. Agger cuts loose from the pack. Clean header. Saved. Offside anyway.
37 Substitution: Andre Santos for Kieran Gibbs:
36 Agger surges forward and is felled by Ramsey. The Welshman isn't happy with the referee. Agger has a quiet word with him.
34 Now Cazorla is on corner duty. His effort is just too high for the Arsenal runners and Johnson clears.
33 A break in play here as Kieran Gibbs receives treatment. This game has been frenetic thus far. Some interesting scores from elsewhere in the division too. See the bottom of this page.
32 ...Luis Suarez.
32 Sagna flies down the right wing and is tackled, fairly, by...
30 @paul_tomkins: Henderson has been excellent so far. Linking well with Suarez, who shoots wide.
29 Sturridge drives the ball into Henderson, who touches to Suarez. The No.7 is wasteful this time, however.
28 More kamikaze defending from Arsenal, this time courtesy of Mertesacker, who gifts the ball Henderson. He threads it into the stride of Suarez, who is put off by Vermaelen. Agger then has a bullet header cleared off the line by Podolski.
26 Gerrard got a foot in and Reina tipped the ball over.
25 Cazorla breaks and finds Podolski, who could have shot but elects to cross for Giroud. He must score, but that's an awesome intervention from Gerrard just as the No.12 was pulling the trigger.
23 Arsenal have enjoyed 61 per cent of the ball so far with no reward.
22 @JBcommentator: Clever from Brendan Rodgers to have Suarez hogging left touchline. Exposing Sagna as Chelsea did recently. Full back being caught downfield.
21 @BassTunedToRed: #LFC have now scored 4 league goals at The Emirates since #AFC last scored against them there.
19 Arsenal really piling on the pressure here. Agger blocks one shot from close range and when the ball drops to Walcott, Reina executes another brilliant save, this time diving to his left.
17 Sagna wins a corner off Suarez but it's cleared by Agger. Wilshere took the first but Walcott steps up for the second. It's no better.
8 Incredible ball by Suarez with the outside of his right foot. Sturridge is denied by Szczesny. Should have done better. The Arsenal goalkeeper then lingers on possession and Sturridge almost takes advantage.
7 It was Mertesacker who deflected Suarez's shot past the goalkeeper. The Uruguayan now has 22 goals this season.
6 Arsenal with a chance to level straight away but Reina pulls off a stunning, point-blank save to deny Walcott. He'll remember that stop for a long time.
5 GOAL! Luis Suarez: Sagna slips, allowing Johnson to ghost in and cross. Sturridge controls and has a shot saved. The ball comes to Henderson, who lays to Suarez. The shot is deflected past Szczesny.
4 Suarez wins an early corner for Liverpool but it's headed clear. The ball eventually falls to Sturridge, who tries a bit of skill in the box. Doesn't come off.
2 Brightest boots award tonight is shared by Glen Johnson and Jordan Henderson. Working the orange.
1 Lovely football by Arsenal. Cross comes in towards Giroud. Hits it first time. Just over.
1 KICK-OFF: Arsenal get the game underway.
Pre The referee tonight is Kevin Friend.
Pre The Arsenal stadium announcer has done away with his habit of pronouncing players' first name and letting the crowd bawl the surname. Good.
Pre Here we go. The players are walking down the tunnel. Luis Suarez last out for Liverpool.
Pre Roberto Mancini is doing a bit of scouting here at the Emirates tonight ahead of Sunday's game. Looks a bit like Inspector Gadget in the hat he's wearing.
Pre Daniel Sturridge having a pre-match chat with England colleague Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
Pre Glove watch: Three Liverpool outfield players are wearing gloves in the warm up - Sterling, Suarez and Shelvey.
Pre @JamesPearceEcho: Christopher Dean in the Emirates press room tonight but no sign of Torvill.
Pre @JBcommentator: Expecting Suarez to play in behind Sturridge with Jordan Henderson asked to fill on left when Liverpool are defending. Important job for him.
Pre @TheKopMagazine: Pace vital tonight. Get Luis & Sturridge in behind Mertesacker & we're in business.
Pre Liverpool have made seven changes from their Cup defeat to Oldham; Arsenal six from their 3-2 win over Brighton.
Pre Ornithology news: a flock of 20 birds have made themselves at home on the Emirates pitch, but they're about to be interrupted as the players prepare to come out for their pre-match warm-up.
Pre Arsenal team: Szczesny, Sagna, Mertesacker, Vermaelen, Gibbs, Ramsey, Wilshere, Cazorla, Walcott, Podolski, Giroud. Subs: Mannone, Koscielny, Jenkinson, Santos, Diaby, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Rosicky.
Pre The big news today ahead of the transfer window shutting is that Liverpool have signed Philippe Coutinho from Inter Milan. Our new No.10 has just tweeted: 'Liverpool is a great club with great players. I'm feeling very happy. It's a very important step in my career.'
Pre Subs: Jones, Enrique, Skrtel, Shelvey, Allen, Borini and Sterling.
Pre Team: Reina, Johnson, Agger, Carragher, Wisdom, Lucas, Gerrard, Henderson, Downing, Suarez, Sturridge.
Pre A solitary Liverpool player wearing bulging headphones is currently checking out the Emirates pitch: Fabio Borini.
Pre Meanwhile, Arsenal season ticket holder and journalist Nick Callow thinks his side are vulnerable through the middle: 'Depends on who is playing, but normally central defence and defensive midfield is our weak link. We have not got a decent central pair this season and lack pace there. We haven't replaced Alex Song, who went to Barcelona in the summer, and it shows.'
Pre Joe Allen has earmarked Santi Carzorla as someone to keep a close eye on tonight: 'He's been a great addition to them - a technician with great quality. One of his biggest attributes is the fact he plays off both feet, so he's a danger for us and someone we'll have to prepare to face and make it as difficult as possible for him to perform. We'll be earmarking him, no doubt.'
Pre Liverpool's next goal will be their 250th against Arsenal in league football. They have only scored more against Aston Villa, Manchester City, Newcastle, Everton and Sunderland.
Pre Arsenal have lost three times at home this season in the Premier League - Chelsea (1-2), Swansea (0-2) and Manchester City (0-2).
Pre Going into this round of midweek fixtures Arsenal have scored 30 goals at home - the joint highest total along with Manchester United.
Pre Liverpool haven't had a great record at the Emirates but that all changed last season with their first ever win there courtesy of an OG from Aaron Ramsey and a Luis Suarez hit.
