Tranmere Rovers 0-6 Liverpool
Liverpool get their pre-season programme under way with a comprehensive victory over Tranmere at Prenton Park.
Nathaniel Clyne set the Reds on their way with a thumping finish after six minutes, before a Rhian Brewster double added an emphatic look to the scoreline before half-time.
After the break, goals from Curtis Jones, Divock Origi and Bobby Duncan furthered the European champions' advantage.
Substitution
Liverpool have been forced to send on sub goalkeeper Daniel Atherton for the injured Glatzel for the final minutes at Prenton Park.
Origi is denied a second goal after Davies saves at his feet.
A sad sight as Glatzel hobbles off after falling awkwardly inside the area when attempting to close down the goalkeeper.
The Reds down to 10 men for the moment.
Disallowed Goal
Walker-Rice has the ball in the back of the Liverpool net, but it's ruled out for an offside.

Goal! Bobby Duncan!
Duncan is on the mark as he coverts from close-range after Glatzel was challenged inside the box.
It owes much to the sterling work of Hoever down the right to create the opening.
6-0 now to the Reds at Prenton Park.
Woodburn attempts a 'scorpion kick' from Hoever's cross, but he can't get it on target
Captain Divock
Origi also wears the captain's armband for this second half.
He's not having a bad summer so far, is he?
Goal
Goal! Divock Origi!
Origi picks up where he left off last season by claiming Liverpool's fifth goal of the night.
Matip plays a ball over the top into the path of his run, where he controls a ball over the shoulder with a wonderful first touch before nudging it around Davies and drilling into the empty net.
Liverpool threaten a fifth after a strong challenge from Lewis on Ponticelli creates an opening.
Tranmere then break and Miller's attempt to stroke into the corner is denied by Jaros.
Goal
Goal! Curtis Jones!

Half Time
Tranmere Rovers 0-3 Liverpool
Nathaniel Clyne set the European champions on their way at Prenton Park before Rhian Brewster's brace, giving Liverpool a healthy half-time lead.
Goal
Goal! Rhian Brewster!
The striker has his second. Davies stops a Milner strike, but he can't keep hold and Brewster pounces to turn the loose ball over the line.
Goal
Goal! Rhian Brewster!
The Reds have doubled their lead here - and Brewster has the goal he's been desperate for.
Milner's low cross from the left evades everyone in the middle of the area, but Wilson collects on the far side. His ball back in takes a deflection and loops into the six-yard box, where Brewster plants a header into the back of the net.
2-0 now to the European champions.
Milner and Lallana swap passes on the edge of the area before the former takes aim, but Davies is able to get down to push his shot away.
Kent finds space inside the box from a quickly-taken free-kick from Milner, but he strikes over the bar from a tight angle.
Blackett-Taylor cracks one low towards goal from 20 yards, which Mignolet needs to parry at his near post.
Larouci is causing problems for the hosts down the left - and he sees a stinging drive across goal beaten away by Davies.
Wilson tries to send Kent clear inside the box, but he's thwarted by a good challenge from Monthe.
Close!
It should be 2-0 as Lallana lays it off for Larouci to run clear into the box and shoot, but it's tipped over the bar by Davies.
A fine block from Gomez denies Tranmere an equaliser after Mullin had skipped beyond the challenge of Phillips inside the area.
Goal
Goal! Nathaniel Clyne!
The Reds are in front. Clyne is left in acres of space by the Tranmere defence. Brewster sees him and plays a low ball across the area into the direction of the full-back, who takes a touch and slams into the top corner.
Wilson lifts a cross into the area in the direction of Brewster, but Ray heads the danger away.

The gaffer's view
Jürgen Klopp previewed tonight's game with us earlier this week, touching on his likely selection plans, the opportunity for youngsters, and what he expects from those who play at Prenton Park.
"We are only five days in training, intense sessions, a lot of players are not here," he said.
"A lot of kids will be involved, that's clear. How it always is, it's not about the result but it's about the performance and all the boys starting or coming on on Thursday will wear a Liverpool shirt and they have to behave like that. They have to do the things we want them to do because that's part of our DNA."

The Reds have been back in pre-season training since last Saturday, when 16 players kicked off preparations for 2019-20. The LFCTV GO cameras have been at Melwood throughout and you can enjoy Inside Training from day one below...
