Weather
*** Istanbul weather update klaxon ***
It might be a cup final tonight, but we're not too distracted to bring you an official Liverpoolfc.com Weather Update™.
And quite frankly, if you thought we were, then we're a bit offended, to be honest.
But, anyway, here we go.
Well, Liverpoolfc.com's very own Glenn Price has described the conditions as "muggy".
What he means is, it's incredibly warm and humid inside Besiktas Park, despite being overcast.
Our trusty thermometer which has made the journey is showing 26 degrees - and it's unlikely to change for the rest of the evening.
It's gonna be a warm one.
The stage?
It's set.
Rule reminder
Remember that extra-time will be played tonight if scores are level after 90 minutes and potentially a penalty shootout afterwards.
Did you know?
Liverpool have made five previous appearances in the UEFA Super Cup, though it should have been six.
However, fixture congestion meant their 1981 tie with Dinamo Tbilisi could not be scheduled.

The gaffer's view
We sat down with Jürgen Klopp ahead of the Super Cup final and the boss gave his thoughts on what to expect from Chelsea under new boss Frank Lampard.
"I think Frank showed last year with Derby that he's a very, very, very good manager because he changed Derby pretty much overnight," he said.
"I didn't know Derby too well but what I heard about it and when I saw them playing last year, especially against United if you want, it was: 'What a game!'
"So, proper football, really high intensity, all that stuff, it's all there, what you need. Good defending [and] high defending, so it will be a challenge. It will be a really interesting game and for us a proper job to do."

The prize
In full voice...
Reds fans making themselves heard in Istanbul earlier today.
"It's a chance to start the season well with another European title. It'll be a good fixture against a team that we, of course, have been competing against for titles domestically as well in England.
"I think [winning] it would give us more confidence. Every time you win a title, your name goes down once again in the club's history. Of course, with the team that we have, our mentality and ambition is to win.
"So we're going to compete for this title. I think it will help our confidence greatly."
