What a great goal.
Coutinho dinks a perfectly weighted pass over the top for Salah, who sizes up the goalkeeper before lifting the ball over him and into the net.

Emre Can's first appearance of pre-season is over as he makes way for Ovie Ejaria.

Robertson overlaps down the left-hand side provides a brilliant low cross, but Salah can't turn it home as he attempts a left-footed poke.
Alexander Esswein sends an effort goalward from inside the box but Simon Mignolet easily palms it away.

It wasn't intentional, but the Hertha man took quite the whack.

Solanke pinches the ball high up the pitch and feeds Mane in the box, who in turn gives it to the late-arriving Wijnaldum.
The Dutchman subsequently makes no mistake with a low finish into the corner. Lovely.
Marvin Plattenhardt lines up a free-kick at the edge of the box but he can only loop it onto the roof of the net.
That doesn't stop thousands of Hertha Berlin fans cheering, with the ripple of the net deceiving them into thinking a goal has been scored.
Hertha go close to equalising as a pull-back is diverted goalward, but Matip gets a leg out to put the ball behind.
Great defending from the big man.
The Reds close to another as a deflected pass drops to Mane but he can only volley his effort over the bar.

Adam Lallana provides the assist, curling a ball into the box that is lobbed over the 'keeper by the Reds' No.29.
The hosts growing into now as Vladimir Darida fires a half volley at Simon Mignolet.
The Belgian is equal to it, though, and holds the ball well to keep Liverpool on terms.

Mitchell Weiser bursts into the Liverpool box and cuts in on his left foot but can only drag a shot well wide of Simon Mignolet's goal.
Not much goalmouth action to speak of yet but Liverpool dominating possession in the early stages.
