On her assessment of the game…

We’re really pleased to come out with three points and sign off from Prenton Park with the win. It has been a brilliant home for us. It puts us in a great position now to try to secure fourth spot.

On how the players have produced such impressive back-to-back performances…

I think it comes down to the depth we’ve got in the squad. We have prepared really well for both games. In both games, against Chelsea and in the game today, they have done the fundamentals of things really, really well. Won the battles. Done all the dirty side of the game. Really pleased to take three points from this game as well.

On the pride felt in the team…

Super-proud. There’s nothing more pleasing for a coach, a manager than when you see the players go out there and give absolutely everything for the shirt, want to fight and scrap for everything. We’ve come out on top. We’re really pleased with them today.

On the satisfaction of signing off from Prenton Park with a victory…

We’re super-happy to go out the way we did today. Super-happy for the fans. This has been a really, really great home for us, it’s been a bit of a fortress, especially since Beardy has come back in. Really happy that we signed off with three points today.

On trying to secure fourth place on the final day…

Look, we’ve made an important step today in terms of fourth place, but there is one more game and we have to make sure that we do the business.
